Financing

A new roof doesn't have to wait

A roof rarely fails on a convenient schedule. Through our financing partner Acorn Finance, you can replace it when it needs replacing and pay over time — with real offers for your real situation, not teaser rates from a billboard.

When financing earns its keep

Three situations where paying over time makes sense

The roof can't wait for savings

A failing roof compounds: today's worn shingles become next spring's decking damage, and decking is where costs jump. Financing lets you fix the problem at its cheapest stage instead of watching it grow while you save.

Insurance covered some — not all

Claims come with deductibles, and sometimes a scope that doesn't cover everything you want done. Financing can bridge the gap between what your carrier pays and the roof you actually want — including your deductible, which Colorado law says a contractor can never cover for you.

Upgrading while the crew's there

The cheapest day to upgrade — Class 4 impact shingles, metal, new gutters, a skylight — is the day the roof is already open. Financing the difference on build day beats retrofitting any of it later as its own project.

How it works

Handled at your estimate, decided by you

01

Get your free estimate

We measure the roof and hand you a written, itemized number — so you're financing a real figure, not a guess.

02

Check your options

Ask about financing and we'll point you to Acorn Finance. Their pre-qualification uses a soft credit check, so seeing your offers doesn't affect your credit score.

03

Compare real offers

Acorn is a marketplace — you see offers from multiple lenders and pick the terms that fit, or walk away. The lender relationship is yours, not ours.

04

We build the roof

Once you're set, we schedule the build — most roofs done in a day, cleaned up completely. Same work, same warranty, whatever way you pay.

Why no rates on this page? Terms depend entirely on your situation, so we don't publish numbers — we'd rather show you real options for your real roof than advertise a teaser that doesn't apply to you.

The honest version

Financing isn't always the answer

We're roofers, not lenders — Acorn's lenders set the terms, and we don't get to promise you a payment. What we can promise is a straight read on your alternatives before you borrow anything:

If the answer really is a full replacement, that's when financing earns its place — and the free inspection is where we figure out which of these you're actually looking at.

Questions

Roof financing FAQ

Does checking offers affect my credit?

Acorn Finance's pre-qualification uses a soft credit check, which doesn't affect your score. A hard pull only happens if you accept an offer and complete a full application with a lender.

Is this APX's own financing?

No — and that's deliberate. Financing runs through Acorn Finance, a marketplace where multiple lenders compete for your project. We're your roofer; the loan terms are between you and the lender you pick.

What roofing work can be financed?

Replacements are the most common, but repairs, Roof Renew treatments, and the add-ons that ride along with a roof project — gutters, skylights, ventilation — can be part of the same picture. Ask at your estimate.

Can I finance my insurance deductible?

Yes — your deductible is your cost, and financing it is a normal, legal way to handle it. What's not legal in Colorado is a contractor offering to waive or cover it for you. Anyone who offers that is committing insurance fraud.

How fast is the process?

Checking your options through Acorn's online pre-qualification typically takes minutes. Final approval timing depends on the lender you choose — and none of it holds up the estimate, which you can get first either way.

Do I need financing before the estimate?

No — and we'd recommend the opposite order. Get the free estimate first so you know the real number, then decide whether to pay outright, finance, or hold off. There's no obligation at any step.
